As the last stop before Tipperne you have front-row access to some of the most stunning hiking opportunities in the area. Take a quiet walk in the forest surrounding the campsite or explore the unique bird reserve, where silence is only broken by birdsongs. Here you'll find both short and longer routes that lead you through the characteristic West Jutland landscape.

You can also explore the diverse terrain around Houstrup, where two marked trails offer distinct experiences:

The yellow trail (6.8 km): A longer route passing through Nymindegab and Blåbjerg Plantage, showcasing a mix of woodland and dunes.

The red trail (2.9 km): A shorter route focusing on open landscapes and coastal dunes.

Both trails start at the Houstrup Beach parking lot, guiding you through rolling terrain. You can also create your own path—follow the beach as far as you like and return through the scenic dunes. With just 4 km to the beach from the campsite, there are plenty of opportunities to explore at your own pace.
