As the last stop before Tipperne, you have front-row access to some of the area’s most beautiful hiking trails. Take a peaceful walk in the forest surrounding the campsite or explore the unique Tipperne Bird Reserve, where silence is only interrupted by birdsong. Here, you’ll find both short and long trails that take you through the characteristic West Jutland landscape.

You can also discover the diverse terrain around Houstrup, where two marked trails await, each offering a unique experience:

• The yellow trail (6.8 km): A longer route through both Nyminde and Blåbjerg Plantage, showcasing varied landscapes.
• The red trail (2.9 km): A shorter route focusing on open landscapes and dunes.

Both trails start at the Houstrup Beach parking lot and lead you through rolling terrain. You can also create your own path—follow the shoreline as far as you like and return through the stunning dunes. With only 4 km to the beach from the campsite, you have plenty of opportunities to explore the area at your own pace.
