A family-run campsite
In 2001, we – Helle and Jari – bought Nymindegab Camping. We didn’t just create a campsite; we built a sanctuary, where our daughters, Anne and Sofie, grew up with sand between their toes and camping life all around them.
For Anne, the campsite became her playground and although she once said, “I will never own a campsite,” camping life had already left its mark. In 2021, Anne and her husband Mikkel joined as co-owners alongside us. Since then we have expanded with Houstrup Camping and Tipperne Camping.
"Take off, made easy!" is not just our slogan – it’s our way of life. As a family we run the campsites together, develop them as a team and create the perfect setting for your holiday memories. For us it’s all about presence and passing on great experiences.

Social responsibility – We believe in people
As a family-run campsite we know that people make the difference. That’s why we are proud to be part of Code of Care Varde, where we, together with other local businesses, create opportunities for people facing different challenges.
Making a real difference
In 2024 we have four social employment positions, which not only enrich our workplace but also add value to the wider community. For us it’s about embracing diversity and believing that everyone has something to contribute.
In partnership with Jobcenter Varde we actively work to create meaningful jobs. This commitment has earned us the GROW Social Sustainability Certificate—a recognition we are proud of. But more importantly we are proud to make a real impact in our local community.

Through our four social employment positions we have generated a social bottom-line value of 478,950 DKK for society:

- Region: 96,331 DKK
- Municipality: 213,966 DKK

We are green Camping Certified
We are proud to have earned the Green Camping certification—a recognition of our commitment to sustainability on our campsite. This means we meet strict environmental standards and are constantly working to reduce our impact on nature.
From new waste sorting systems to a strong focus on energy consumption, we actively work to protect the environment. As our guest you also contribute to a greener future—together we make camping more sustainable.

Arrive whenever it suits you, choose your preferred spot and book easily online when you are settled in. Here is space to breathe deeply and time to let the calmness take over.
